National People's Assembly

Background and achievements

Malek Mohamed

Member of the National People's Assembly

Tlemcen Province10th LegislatureNational Democratic Rally

Malek Mohamed is the member for the wilaya of Tlemcen at the National People's Assembly, elected for the National Democratic Rally. A lawyer by training, he holds a law degree from the Ben Aknoun faculty (University of Algiers), a master's in law (public international law) and a master's in political science (public administration) from the University of Tlemcen.

He spent nearly twenty years on the wilaya's major infrastructure projects: first as a studies officer at the East-West motorway project directorate, then as legal officer and head of administration and resources at the high-speed rail project directorate.

His parliamentary work rests on a simple conviction: an MP is a link between citizens and the administration. The Tlemcen office receives every file, examines it and follows it through to the answer of the institution concerned.
